Check them out on the web: www.hamboards.com A buddy of mine who lives in San Diego sells them. Watch the crazy video of the owner’s 5 sons ripping it up in Huntington on the longboards.
Today I spent the majority of my day with a buddy of mine, Sean Kelly, ex Sixpence guitarist and now plays with this legend - Denny Diamond - Yes, a Neil Diamond impersonator……. but before you laugh, last year I saw this guy perform in Nashville to a wild crowd of over 6000 screaming fans!!! Its was CRAZY!
Anyways we were writing songs for my new album. We always have a blast together and usually pen some magic. Today was no exception, we worked on a song called ‘help me make some sense of this world’. A political rant about the world, injustice and me trying to make sense of it all…….. I sometime feel like this is a daily struggle, so I put it in a song. Maybe I’ll post the song on here soon??
Want to be inspired? Check out this collection of videos about social entrepreneurs from around the world. It’s called the FRONTLINE/World series. Here’s a description:
“…we have searched for stories about people who innovate in ways that truly transform our interconnected world. This special site will feature the stories of people whose ideas and organizations create new and sustainable markets and services that benefit underserved communities everywhere in the developing world. In a nutshell, these are stories about individuals whose ideas leap beyond charity to find systemic solutions to poverty, education, health and social justice.”
