A buddy of mine (Marc Krejci) and I have been toying with an idea for about a year
of starting a podcast called ‘Patrons of change’. But alas, we shelved the idea, were too busy, and having both started new families we thought we just couldn’t do it.

But the idea never left our conversation. You see, almost everyday we’d chat on the phone, text, send delicious tags, email or over dinner about our businesses. We’d throw creative ideas out in the mix and help each other with our fledgling companies. We both had a great desire for entreperneurship and loved learning and our times together encouraged us both greatly.

Then in mid 2007 we thought. Hey, why don’t we invite some of our other entrepreneur friends together, who are business owners and going through the same things as us, lets all get together and discuss business….. inspire one another. We could read books and discuss the principles together, network, feed ideas into each others business, practice big pitches to the group, invite guest speakers and much more. Thus the ‘Patrons of Change’ Entreperneurs Mixer was born.

In 2008 we’re getting serious, we meet the second Tuesday of every month in Cool Springs TN. We have office space donated to meet in. Its an open invite to founding entrepreneurs in the area. The only pre-requisite is that you must be the owner/founder of the company (no franchisees). You can find out more at www.patronsofchange.com. Hey folks! I’m back home in Nashville after a killer tour in Australia. I played a total of 17 shows in just over three weeks. I met so many fabulous people downunder and played in some amazing churches and schools. Thanks to everyone who made the tour a success - Compassion International, Schools, Pastors, all the advocates who made it out to the shows, and most of all to the lovely people who drove out to see my shows! You all rock!!
