Kick off to sing about!

Tuesday, August 12th, 2008

The tour has officially begun and we had a great weekend out in the country towns of Parkes, Forbes and Peak Hill. Parkes is famous for “The Dish” which is a massive radio-telescope which was used in the moon landing in 1969. Aussies know it well from the movie “The Dish“!

We had the day off on Saturday and visited Western Plains Zoo, which is like a safari in the bush. Its a huge open Zoo, where you drive around and see animals from around the world. Jody had a blast!!

We’ve seen snow twice already! Very rare….. it seems we’ve bought out the TN winter?? ‘ ready for some heat and sunshine…. maybe we’ll get some in Perth! We fly out tomorrow :)
